Getting to Querétaro

Querétaro City (Santiago de Querétaro) is the capital of the Mexican state of Querétaro. It is located in central Mexico, 130 miles northwest of Mexico City.

We recommend flying into Querétaro International Airport (QRO). From the airport, you can take a taxi or Uber to the downtown area (El Centro), where most hotels are located (see below for our recommendations).

Getting Around Querétaro

NOTE: We will provide transportation for our guests between the city center and the wedding venue (Hacienda Viborillas) to take you to/from the wedding. Pickup location will be at one of the recommended hotels below. More information on this will be communicated closer to the wedding.

Our lodging recommendations are all located in the historic center of Querétaro (El Centro), which is very walkable. To travel outside of this area, we recommend you take a taxi or Uber.

Lodging Recommendations

NOTE: When planning your stay, please consider that we will be hosting an optional, self-pay welcome dinner on Dec. 11, 2026 (the evening before our wedding). We are also considering organizing an optional, self-pay group outing the day following the wedding (Dec. 13, 2026), depending on interest and availability. More information will be communicated in the official invitation.

All of our recommendations are located in the historic center of Querétaro within a few blocks of each other. If you choose another hotel or an Airbnb, we recommend you choose one within walking distance of our recommendations so that you may still easily access the transportation to/from the wedding.

To book a room using our special Event Code for one of the following hotels, we recommend that you contact the hotel using the provided phone number via WhatsApp (available for iOS and Android). WhatsApp is widely used by businesses in Mexico and is safe to use. If you are asked to provide credit card information, you can ask to provide it over a phone call rather than text message. These hotels have indicated they cannot accept the Event Code when booking online, so in order to get the event room rate, you will have to contact them directly via WhatsApp. Please reach out to us if you need assistance!
